The Entre Rios Province of Argentina literally means ‘between Rivers’ and in this case it is the Uruguay River that forms one border while the mighty Parana River forms the other. The Parana is the widest river in the world reaching 50 miles across in places and the Island in between is formed of massive expanses of wetlands which are home to 12 species of shootable ducks plus Perdiz Doves Pigeons and Parakeets.

It is worthy of mention that our Outfitters have sole hunting rights to an area of circa one million hectares (2.5 million Acres) and as such we are able to deliver both Wing Shooting and Big Game hunting should that be of interest since we have excellent Black Buck, Axis Deer and Wild Boar available here also.

The other key benefit of Entre Rios is it’s proximity to Buenos Aires when transfers by road take less than 90 minutes and preclude the need for an additional flight. In addition, while Cordoba may well have the name and reputation, Entre Rios has similar volumes of Doves but also offers exceptional Duck Shooting and Perdiz too, something that many clients may not otherwise realise, and fear not if you do not have waders and weapons appropriate for the task as these can all be provided by our Outfitter.

This Estancia is very comfortable with en-suite double rooms which are perfect for smaller parties of guests and the sport is rarely more than 30 minutes drive away, often much closer depending on the species sought. Comfortable rooms are complimented by bright, airy lounge and dining areas where food and drink of an exceptional quality is prepared from fresh locally sourced products.
