Argentina is the fifth-largest Country in terms of surface area in the world and as such offers a wide diversity of opportunity although not everyone wants an additional transfer to their Hunting Grounds and as such we are delighted o confirm that we have some excellent hunting right on the doorstep of the Nation’s Capital. Buenos Aires is also a Province of Argentina and in this region that we offer Wing Shooting opportunities as well as Big Game Hunting.
The Estancia El Retiro is warm, comfortable and well appointed and within a short drive of this location we are able to offer some superb Blackbuck and Axis Deer Hunting over 6000Ha of open range as well as Wild Boar Hunting with the assistance of Gauchos on horseback supported by dogs over a further 30000Ha of wetlands.
We have already had one European client take over 50 Wild Boar in a single evening, such is the volume of game available and those more familiar with driven hunts for said species either in Eastern Europe or similar will be delighted to try this for themselves. Some specimens are huge and whilst we cannot guarantee that every one will be of medal quality, should you take our 12-pig Gaucho Hunting Package then on average, 4 are likely to be modest, a further 4 will be representative while the remainder will make you the talk of the town on your return!
Individual trophy animals can also be taken and we have menu pricing based on tusk size for those interested in that while Axis Deer and Blackbuck are charged based on medal quality and ‘Top Ten’ status as appropriate.
BuenosAries Provinceis also an excellent location for Wing Shooting where Ducks Doves and Partridges (Perdiz) can be taken. Generally Duck shooting takes place from Dawn until 11am after which we return to the Estancia for lunch and a siesta while afternoons allow for walked-up Partridge shooting over pointers and of course Dove and Pigeon-shooting too.
