Argentina - visitor information

Argentina is the 8th largest country in the world, with vast and beautiful landscapes in every direction you travel. The population however is actually quite small with a culture that is very European and cosmopolitan.

In general, the infrastructure is to a very high standard throughout the country. When leaving Rosario, you need to cross over several new bridges and roadways in order to arrive at the Lodge, this is quite an amazing drive and very impressive with excellent panoramic views throughout.

Entre Rios is an area that is extremely popular for Duck, Dove and Perdiz Hunting due to the masses of waterways, marshes and lagunas, all of which are the birds natural habitat.

Los Dos Hermanos is located approximately 450 kilometers from Bs As. The Hunters can either fly to Parana or Santa Fe, but we think that being picked up by our transportation is easier and less time consuming and more relaxing, changing airports and flight delays do tend to unnerve even the most ardent Hunter.
We do try to fit in the first day “Afternoon Hunt” as stated before, otherwise the excursion consists of a further 4 Days “mixed bag” Duck, Dove and Perdiz hunts with a final 1/2 Day early morning Duck / Perdiz Hunt before heading back home.
We have several locations to chose from when Hunting, our most favorable Duck Hunting site is approximately 25 minutes from the Lodge by road to the river, then another 20 minutes down the river in our boat to the Hunting sites, for the Dove Hunts we use other favorable areas.
Los Dos Hermanos is a fully functional and licensed Lodge by the Provincial and Federal authorities, where we have private and leased lands. We have all new 20 & 12 gauge guns for rent with names such as Beretta, Benelli, Zafer, Yildis and Hawk.
We judge the High Season to be between May and August, however we can Duck Hunt even into September where we are able to use sites other than our own properties where the Ducks remain in place. The temperature during these months is generally between 60 to 65 degrees, but can drop to below 40 on occasions.
Our Low Season runs between October through and until April where the Hunters can shoot Doves, this is still one of the Hunters favorite birds to Hunt. The temperature during these months is generally quite warm with highs of 70 and 80 degrees or more.
